The price tag on this discount Optoma HD72 projector makes it attractive to not only businesses who relay on the use of projectors, but also to non-profit organizations, schools and even some home users. Part of the buzz about the Optoma HD72 has to do with the contrast. Without Image AI, you get a 3500:1 resolution. By activating the Image AI, you can get up to 5000:1 resolution, which just goes to show how spiffy the Optoma HD72 projector lamp really is. This nice range will make it usage in just about any environment you could imagine as a setting for a gathering. The relatively small and lightweight dimensions of the Optoma HD72 make it idea for storage in small offices and also homes. The attractive high gloss case looks classy when opened in the boardroom and the fact that the casing is white means you can mount it permanently near the ceiling and it will blend in with the ceiling tiles, not clash with the wall coverings. One thing you will have to keep in mind when using the Optoma HD72: you can only have the unit so far away from the screen. The zoom lens with do a good job with no more distance that around eleven and a half feet, which is usually plenty of distance for small offices and home theaters. You can pull back a little more, but keep in mind you will lose some of the crispness of the projection, which may not be a good thing.
